Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is a bit outdated but adequate. The rooms are shabby and dirty, more like a 'travelodge' standard. The service was polite and friendly; however, the lifts were out of order during my stay. The location is the best feature, stepping out of reception is amazing. The dining experience in the 6th-floor restaurant was a shambles, but the food quality was good. The facilities are basic, nothing fancy but functional.
The hotel was quite comfortable, to 'Travelodge' standard. It was OK, but very cold, with a general air of shabbiness from the door lock that seemed weak to the bathroom tiling looking poorly done.
The hotel's location is amazing, right in the heart of the nightlife and surrounded by great attractions. The rooms, although small and a little dated, are currently being refurbished for a better experience. The service was polite and friendly, but they had lift issues during our stay. The dining experience at the 6th-floor restaurant was lovely, offering a unique 60's nightclub ambiance.
The hotel's location is its main highlight, with easy access to Newcastle's attractions. The rooms, although currently being renovated, felt a bit shabby and cold. The service was polite, but the issue with the lifts was inconvenient. The dining experience at the 6th-floor restaurant was delightful, reminiscent of a 60's night club.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was excellent, right amongst the nightlife, just steps away from reception, but that was really all that stood out positively. The rooms were small, shabby, and a little dated, giving off an air of neglect. The service was polite and friendly, though we were informed the lifts were out of order on a Saturday afternoon. The dining experience felt like a throwback to a 60s nightclub, with the restaurant on the 6th floor having a dated ambiance with purple drapes, yet the food quality was very good.
